Students went whitewater rafting, hiked, canoed, paddle boarded, fished, played lawn games, and basked in the sunshine ☀️

You might recognize him as the Executive Dean of the Maine Business School. But during Business Bridge Week, he’s just Jason.

This week, you might find him…

📦 Helping you move boxes into your room at Somerset Hall.

🚐 Driving you to Katahdin if you signed up for that hiking adventure.

🚣‍♂️ In your boat if you’re whitewater rafting. (We cannot confirm or deny his paddling abilities. Good luck.)

🍕 Having lunch with you at Hilltop Commons.

👋 And probably wandering around DPC, meeting as many of our new students as he can.

So if you see this guy during Bridge Week, introduce yourself! Tell him your name, where you’re from, what you’re studying—or just say hi.

You’re going to hear a lot about the Maine Business School this week. One of the best things you can learn right away is that our faculty and staff want to know you, too.

Meet the team behind Business Bridge Week!

Before our new first-year students even arrive, these MBS student leaders have already been putting in the work.

All week, they’ve been training, planning, practicing, and preparing to help make Business Bridge Week a smooth, welcoming—and FUN—start to college life.

They’ll be the people helping you find your way, answering questions, leading activities, making sure things run smoothly, and probably convincing you to participate in something you weren’t sure you wanted to do. 😉

But their work doesn’t end when Bridge Week does. These students will continue serving as leaders, mentors, and resources for our first-year students throughout the semester.

So, to our amazing Bridge Week team: thank you! Your time, energy, and enthusiasm make a huge difference for our newest MBS students. We’re lucky to have you on Team MBS. 💙
