This summer, Raina Movalia, a CSD undergraduate, volunteered in the Audiology Clinic at UMaine’s Conley Speech, Language, and Hearing Center. "Here, I gained hands-on experience with hearing aid cleaning and troubleshooting, clinic operations, and client care, as well as helped develop the state of Maine’s first audiology assistant micro-credential -- all of which solidified my passion for pursuing audiology!" Thanks for your hard work this summer, Raina!

This week, we have welcomed our first year undergraduate students to campus for Bridge Week. They've read and discussed speech-language pathology and the criminal justice system during an outdoor book club on "But My Speech is Fine! Speech-language pathology: True stories of a misunderstood profession" by Lauren Hermann. They've also competed in Irish Road Bowling with the School of Economics (some faculty even joined the fun!).
