🌟 Highlight of the Week: Dolphin Classroom! 🐬

This week's Highlight of the Week goes to our Dolphin Classroom and their wonderful teacher, Ms. Laura!

Our toddlers have been exploring the exciting theme of Summer and Outdoor Activities! This week, they read the story In the Tall, Tall, Grass, where the children discovered many of the tiny animals and insects that can be found hiding in nature.

To bring the story to life, the children enjoyed a hands-on sensory bin activity. Using their sense of touch and sight, they explored a variety of textures, including soft shredded paper and colorful cloth flowers 🌼, while searching for hidden chubby toy bugs.

As they played, the children discovered a variety of summer insects, including butterflies 🦋, caterpillars 🐛, dragonflies, bumblebees 🐝, ladybugs 🐞, and more! This engaging activity encouraged sensory exploration, strengthened fine motor skills, expanded vocabulary, and promoted curiosity as the children searched, discovered, and talked about the different bugs they found.

🌲🔥 Weekly Classroom Highlight: Clownfish Room! 🔥🌲

This week's spotlight shines on our amazing Clownfish Classroom! As part of our July investigation on Camping, the children have been exploring outdoor adventures, family camping traditions, and delicious campfire treats.

Ms. Juliana and Ms. Destiny created a fun and engaging S'mores Sensory Bin that brought this theme to life! Using tan and brown construction paper for graham crackers, brown paper for chocolate, and soft cotton balls for marshmallows, the children had a blast "building" their own s'mores while exploring the sensory bin.

This hands-on activity encouraged children to strengthen their fine motor skills by grasping and manipulating materials, practice color recognition, and build creativity through imaginative play. Most importantly, they had so much fun learning about a favorite camping tradition!

Way to go, Clownfish Room! Thank you, Ms. Juliana and Ms. Destiny, for creating meaningful, engaging learning experiences that spark curiosity and make learning unforgettable. ❤️🏕️🍫

🌟 This Week's Classroom Shout-Out Goes to Seahorse Class! 🌟

This week, Mrs. Victoria's Seahorse class explored their creativity with a fun and festive patriotic art activity! Using a variety of red, white, and blue craft materials, each child created their own unique masterpiece.

As the children carefully used their fingertips to pick up and place small craft pieces, they strengthened their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and finger muscles—all essential for future writing and everyday tasks. Beyond building these important developmental skills, the activity encouraged creative expression, independent decision-making, and imaginative thinking.

Most importantly, the classroom was filled with smiles, excitement, and a sense of pride as each child celebrated their one-of-a-kind creation. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, create, and have fun together while celebrating with patriotic colors! ❤️🤍💙

Shoutout to Ms. AriAnna for creating a fun and engaging learning experience with animal sensory bins! 🐾 The children loved exploring different animals while splashing and playing in the water.

Our weekly highlight goes to the Angelfish Classroom! Ms. Emi created sensory bottles for tummy time, and the children had a wonderful time exploring them. While engaging with the sensory bottles, the children strengthen their neck, shoulder, core, and back muscles. Tummy time also supports motor skill development as they reach for toys, push up on their arms, roll over, and shift their weight. In addition, these activities help promote visual development and sensory exploration.

It’s been a week since our first Sweetheart Dance, and the children are still beaming with excitement, showing us their dance moves! 💃🕺

We are so thankful for everyone who came out and enjoyed the evening with us while helping build such a strong and supportive community. It meant so much to share such a fun and special night with all of you. ❤️

We had an amazing time and are already looking forward to many more family events in the future. Thank you for being part of the excitement!
