🌟 CLASSROOM SHOUT-OUT: ORCA CLASSROOM! 🌟☀️💨

We’re giving a HUGE shout-out to our amazing Orca classroom for all the fun and learning they had last week with Ms. Destiny! 🐋💙

The Orca friends continued their exciting study of weather while getting creative with hands-on activities using recycled materials! 🌦️♻️

☀️ Sunshine Art!
The children created their own beautiful suns using recycled paper plates, glue, and feathers! Through this activity, our little learners explored different textures and materials, expressed their creativity, and expanded their vocabulary as they discussed the different colors they might see in the sun. 🎨✨

💨 Windsock Creations!
During circle time, the class talked all about wind—what it does and how, even though we can't see the wind itself, we can see the things that move and blow in the wind! 🌬️

The children then created their very own windsocks using recycled toilet paper rolls, ribbons, and markers. They had so much fun decorating their creations while practicing their fine-motor skills, creativity, vocabulary, and discussion skills. They even talked about taking their wind socks home to hang outside and watch them BLOW! 💨🎨

What a wonderful way to turn a classroom topic into meaningful, hands-on learning! We love seeing our Orca friends explore, create, ask questions, and learn through play. 🐋💙

👏 Way to go, Orca Classroom! Your curiosity and creativity were shining bright last week! ☀️🌈

🌟 Weekly Classroom Highlight – Stingray Class 🌟

Mrs. Lisa couldn't choose just one activity to share this week, so she decided two are better than one! There is always so much learning and fun happening at Cadence Academy Preschool that we wish we could showcase every single activity.

🎨 Creative Art with Recycled Materials

Today, our Stingray friends explored their creativity by using toilet paper rolls, bubble wrap, paint, and other recycled materials to create their own unique works of art. This hands-on activity encouraged imagination, creativity, and self-expression while helping strengthen fine motor skills.

We love seeing our little artists turn everyday materials into beautiful masterpieces! 💙🐠

🌟 Weekly Classroom Highlight – Stingray Class 🌟

This week's highlight comes from Mrs. Lisa's Stingray classroom!

Our little learners had a blast creating their own moon sand by mixing 4 cups of flour with 2 cups of baby oil. Once the moon sand was ready, we buried small bears for the children to discover and used paintbrushes to gently brush the sand away.

This hands-on sensory activity encouraged children to strengthen their fine motor skills, improve hand-eye coordination, and explore through imaginative play. Most importantly, they had an amazing time learning while having fun!

Way to go, Mrs. Lisa and our Stingray friends! 💙🐠
