At Let’s Play Music, we’re encouraging a love of learning! Children will learn to love learning if we show enthusiasm over the process rather than fixating on results. Our classes are full of jumping, laughing, storytelling, and imaginative play in peer group settings which naturally encourage children to participate and to excel. Discovering early in life that learning can be fun will keep their little minds curious and wanting to learn more! 🎹 🎶

Studies show that dopamine — a neurotransmitter that plays and important role in our cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning — plays a direct role in the reward experience induced by music. How cool is that?! No wonder we have so much fun in our Let’s Play Music lessons!

During the first semester of let’s Play Music, students use these cute red balloons to learn the spaces and lines on the staff!

The kids don’t have to know the names of the lines and spaces to comprehend and read it. They can learn how it goes up and down by learning to “step” and “skip”. They are reading music without letter names! Staff reading has never been so fun!!

My fall classes started last week but it’s not too late to register. Next week is bring a friend to class day! I’m offering a (free!) FULL class for those who want to come see what Let’s Play Music is all about. Classes are held on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons at 4:30pm. Classes are 45 minutes long and are held in a group setting for children ages 4-6. We are having such a fun time in music class and would love to have you join! Space is limited, message me to reserve a spot today. 😀 🎶
