We have some exciting news!

Our Studio Engineering 101 program is scheduled to kick off its first section this month! 🎉

We still have room for a few more students in this inaugural class, so if you've been thinking about learning the world of live sound, recording, and audio production, now is a great time to jump in!

Here's a little more about the program:

🎚️ Studio Engineering 101
• 6-week course with one 1-hour class each week
• Learn the fundamentals of live sound and studio recording
• Gain hands-on experience with microphones, mixers, speakers, and professional audio equipment
• Explore signal flow, sound reinforcement, and recording principles
• Great for aspiring musicians, future sound engineers, and anyone interested in audio technology

The course will be taught by James White, whose years of professional experience in live sound and production will give students valuable insight into the industry.

🎨 Hello, Elite Academy parents, students, and prospective families!

We're excited to announce that Art Classes return on July 29th as we head into the fall season!

We're grateful to have Ms. Peggy back leading our kid's art program, and our Wednesday class will continue at 2:30 PM for our public school students! (We are glad to report!)

We offer multiple weekly classes, divided by age group as much as possible, with each class meeting for one hour in Unit 725.

If you're new to our program, Ms. Peggy customizes each class to the students' ages and abilities, helping them develop their artistic skills while keeping learning creative and engaging. Most projects are completed in a single week, although some larger projects may continue over multiple classes. Drop-in visits are welcome whenever they fit into the current curriculum!

Our classes are taught using National Core Arts Standards, making them an excellent option for homeschool families while providing a fun balance of creativity and structured art instruction for all students.

Join Ms. Niki for a special edition of our Group Piano Class as we Explore World Music!

Each week, students will discover music from different cultures while building piano skills, learning fun rhythms, playing games, and making music together in a supportive group environment. Whether your child is brand relatively new to piano or already has lots of experience, this class is designed to inspire creativity and a lifelong love of music.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to become a professional DJ?

Elite Academy of Music and Motion is excited to announce an upcoming Beginner DJ Course taught by local professional DJ Charlie Gangi, better known throughout the Daytona Beach music scene as DJ KRB!

With more than 20 years of experience in live performance, music production, and entertainment, Charlie has built a reputation as one of the area's most respected DJs. He currently serves as a resident DJ at some of the region's most popular entertainment venues and has performed throughout Central Florida at clubs, festivals, private events, and community celebrations. As a producer and recording artist, he has released more than 100 original songs and brings real-world industry knowledge directly into the classroom.

This hands-on course is designed for aspiring DJs ages teen through adult who want to learn the art, science, and etiquette of modern DJing.

Students will explore:

🎵 The history and evolution of DJ culture
🎛️ DJ equipment, controllers, mixers, and software
🔊 Sound system setup and audio fundamentals
🎼 BPM, song structure, and music selection
🎚️ Beatmatching, transitions, EQ mixing, and effects
🎤 Performance techniques and crowd engagement
📱 Branding, marketing, and booking opportunities
🎧 Professional habits, networking, and gig preparation

Throughout the course, students will gain practical experience using industry-standard equipment while developing the skills needed to perform confidently in real-world environments.

The course will conclude with each student creating and performing a short DJ set while receiving feedback and guidance from Charlie.

Days and times are still being finalized, but we are now building a waitlist of interested students!

Introducing Jr. Musical Theater Lab!

Open to all young performers, singers, storytellers, and creative kids ages 7–12!

Jr. Musical Theater Lab kicks off Thursday, June 11th from 7–8 PM and is designed to be a fun, welcoming space where students can explore singing, acting, movement, and character creation while building confidence and making new friends. 🌟

Each class is a unique, stand-alone experience, so students can jump in anytime without feeling behind!

🎤 Sing with expression and confidence
🎭 Create characters and act out scenes
💃 Move and perform on stage
🤝 Work as part of an ensemble
🎬 Play theater games and creative challenges
✨ Build confidence in a supportive environment
