Have you ever wondered what it takes to become a professional DJ?

Elite Academy of Music and Motion is excited to announce an upcoming Beginner DJ Course taught by local professional DJ Charlie Gangi, better known throughout the Daytona Beach music scene as DJ KRB!

With more than 20 years of experience in live performance, music production, and entertainment, Charlie has built a reputation as one of the area's most respected DJs. He currently serves as a resident DJ at some of the region's most popular entertainment venues and has performed throughout Central Florida at clubs, festivals, private events, and community celebrations. As a producer and recording artist, he has released more than 100 original songs and brings real-world industry knowledge directly into the classroom.

This hands-on course is designed for aspiring DJs ages teen through adult who want to learn the art, science, and etiquette of modern DJing.

Students will explore:

🎵 The history and evolution of DJ culture
🎛️ DJ equipment, controllers, mixers, and software
🔊 Sound system setup and audio fundamentals
🎼 BPM, song structure, and music selection
🎚️ Beatmatching, transitions, EQ mixing, and effects
🎤 Performance techniques and crowd engagement
📱 Branding, marketing, and booking opportunities
🎧 Professional habits, networking, and gig preparation

Throughout the course, students will gain practical experience using industry-standard equipment while developing the skills needed to perform confidently in real-world environments.

The course will conclude with each student creating and performing a short DJ set while receiving feedback and guidance from Charlie.

Introducing Jr. Musical Theater Lab!

Open to all young performers, singers, storytellers, and creative kids ages 7–12!

Jr. Musical Theater Lab kicks off Thursday, June 11th from 7–8 PM and is designed to be a fun, welcoming space where students can explore singing, acting, movement, and character creation while building confidence and making new friends. 🌟

Each class is a unique, stand-alone experience, so students can jump in anytime without feeling behind!

💃 Move and perform on stage
🤝 Work as part of an ensemble
🎬 Play theater games and creative challenges
✨ Build confidence in a supportive environment
