This position is in person located at our Learning Center in Ormond Beach Florida.

Job description:
We are looking to add talented, highly qualified tutors to our team! This is an in-person tutoring position located in Volusia County, Florida. Tutors must be passionate about seeing our students succeed and have the following qualification(s):

Holds a valid Florida teacher certificate, or is eligible for one, required.
Holds a bachelor's degree in education or related field.
Teaching/tutoring experience required.
Secondary (Grades 6-12th) Math and/or Reading tutoring experience required.
Experience working in Exceptional Student Education preferred.
Current background check and drug test report required upon hiring.

Our A+ Tutors are expected to:
Facilitate a positive and friendly environment for learning.
Be highly knowledgeable in your subject area(s).
Maintain clear communication with students and parents.
Arrive to all tutoring sessions on time and prepared.
Keep accurate records and adhere to deadlines.

We are currently seeking highly motivated, Florida-certified teachers to participate in our 2026 summer program in June and July, teaching math, reading, and ELA to K - 8th Grade Students. The program operates Monday to Thursday, 2 to 5 hours per day, with an hourly compensation rate of $35 to $45. This position involves 1:1 instruction or very small groups of 6 or fewer students.
