Friends and families gathered last Friday evening to celebrate the Class of 2026 as they walked the stage and completed their time at Riverbend Academy. Congratulations to our Salutatorian Joshua Birkedal and Valedictorian Story Knight, and all of our graduates. We are proud of their hard work and accomplishments and will continue to pray as they move forward into the next phase of their journey. Well done Class of 2026! Final music class of the year for 4th and 5th grade. They were a little hyped! Have a great summer!

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Josiah Pierce who has attended Riverbend Academy for eleven years. Josiah played soccer at Riverbend, and his hobbies include fishing, video games and chilling. His favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6:33 because it is a promise from God. Mr. Black, his elementary Sunday school teacher, had him memorize it and taught the boys to seek first the Lord.

Following graduation Josiah plans to take a gap year and work for his dad, then some sort of trade school. What has God taught your during your senior year? “Be content in where He has put me, work hard, it could always be worse.” Congratulations Josiah! Thank you for the Senior Pictures.

What a special class! Hard to believe this school year has come to an end - summer break begins TODAY!

Final day of fishing class with a group that really loves to fish! I know a lot of the students plan to get outside and fish over the summer ❤️🎣 Hard to believe tomorrow is the last day of school - only a half day! Graduation is Friday at 7:00 pm.

At our Athletics Banquet, we hold a fundraiser where friends and families can show support for their favorite athletes by clipping dollars on our “bucks boards”. This year, we promised a prize for the athlete who raised the most. We had multiple athletes tie for 3rd place with $20 raised - Tatum Ferreira, Logan Foglio, Savannah Gatlin, Titus Fleming, Keeton Clegg, Molly Mergener. In 2nd place we had Julia Collins with $50 raised, and our 1st place winner, who will receive a FREE PARTICIPATION FEE for next season is Isabella McCauley with $111 raised! Thank you to all who showed support for our athletes and Riverbend athletics!
