Statement Regarding This Afternoon’s Dismissal

During dismissal this afternoon at Orleans Elementary School, an adult in the pick-up line experienced a medical emergency. Emergency medical personnel were contacted and responded to the school.

No students were involved in the incident, and dismissal continued safely.

We appreciate the quick response of our staff and emergency personnel. Out of respect for the individual and their family, we will not share additional information regarding the medical situation.

School buses are back on the roads, and our students are counting on all of us to help keep them safe!

🛑 When a school bus stops with its red lights flashing, STOP!
🚍 Give students plenty of space and time to safely enter and exit the bus.
👀 Stay alert and watch carefully around school buses and bus stops.
