Have you noticed your child walking on their toes? 👣 Occasional toe walking is common as young children learn to walk and explore different ways of moving. However, if toe walking continues beyond age 2–3, happens most of the time, or is accompanied by tight muscles, balance challenges, or delays in other developmental skills, it may be worth discussing with your child's healthcare provider. Early evaluation can help identify whether additional support or therapy could be beneficial.

Every child develops at their own pace, and understanding what is typical can help families know when to simply observe and when to seek guidance. If you have concerns about your child's development, don't hesitate to reach out - early support can make a meaningful difference.

"Mayday!"
Michelle A, Ionia County Early Head Start Home Visitor shared, "Ionia County Early Head Start took over the planes at Ionia Airport. We had a field trip and got to see planes taking off and land. Students pretended to drive their own planes in the clouds (cool whip). We also usedt oys outside and played on the deck. We eat got a foam glider to take home. Please join us in wishing this Building Blocks 3 alum a great year at Head Start! She started in our center as a baby and 3 years later is leaving as as a preschooler! Thanks to her family for sharing her growth and learning with us. We wish her well in her transition to preschool!
