Are you a pack-the-night-before person, or a grab-everything-on-the-way-out-the-door person? 🎒

Here is our packing list for sailing lessons:

✔️ Life jacket (if you have one — we can provide one if needed) 🛟
✔️ Closed-toe shoes that will stay on your feet 👟
✔️ Bathing suit, towel, and a change of clothes 🩳🩱
✔️ Sunscreen and bug spray 🧴
✔️ Water bottle and a peanut-free snack 
✔️ Hat and sunglasses 🕶️🧢
✔️ Rain jacket 🧥
✔️ Any necessary medications

Applications are open for the Robert Radtke Memorial Fund Scholarships ⛵️

Need-based support for the OYC Junior Sailing Program for sailors ages 8–18 with financial need—whether you’re learning to sail or building on experience. Scholarships may also help with championship travel/expenses.

🗓 Deadline: Friday, April 24, 2026 by 3:00 PM (submit to the OYC Office)

⛵️ CHATHAM REGATTA ⛵️

420 Race Team, Advanced, Skippers, Opti Race Team and Opti Intermediates participated in the annual Chatham Regatta this past weekend. Each sailor had a blast despite light wind conditions and made the most of the gorgeous weather. ☀️

WILL MARTIN from Opti Intermediates took home 1ST PLACE in Green Fleet at his first regatta ever! Congratulations Will and all sailors for competing and improving all regatta!
