Hello! My name is Elizabeth Johns. I am 25 years old. I grew up on my family’s farm in Orleans, where I learned the true meaning of hard work, patience, and creating a life you love. I graduated Orleans High School in 2019 and continued my education at Ivy Tech for early childhood education. I have since received my Child Development Associate certification. I lived in Bedford for a short period of time but continued to come to Orleans every day for work. I married Ross Johns in September of 2022 and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to move back to Orleans at the beginning of 2023, only .5 mile from where I grew up. I am the owner of Caterpillar Corner Child Care (est 2021) and Butterfly Lane Preschool (est 2025). I couldn’t have successfully opened two businesses at such a young age without the community support that I’ve received. In my spare time I’m usually still working at the daycare or preschool to ensure things run smoothly and all the littles are welcomed into a nurturing and safe environment to thrive in. I love spending time with my husband helping my parents, Bill and Stacie Busick, on the farm. I’m Auntie Beth to Baby Lane, Miss Ginny, Beckham, Bryson, and Kingston which is my favorite role yet.
I was utterly honored to be asked to partake in such an important night in our community. Working with children every day, I’ve witnessed first hand how the littlest thing can have such a huge impact on their day, month, or even life. Having an organization that we can all go to at any time and receive the help we so desperately need, is something none of us should take for granted. Let’s join together as a community and help this group of ladies raise money to give back in a meaningful way!
