Ticket sales are now live for the Boone Orchestra’s first concert of the year, Fall Orchestra Concert!

The Orchestra will be donating 100% of the proceeds made from ticket admission to “Kids Beating Cancer”, a local non-profit dedicated to helping kids beat cancer.

Come out on Thursday, October 9th @ 7PM and support our talented and hard working musicians, all while supporting a great cause! Our Breat Cancer Awareness Club will also be selling T-shirts in the PAC lobby before the concert.

Over spring break, the Boone High School Chamber Orchestra traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to participate in the ASTA National Orchestra Festival. This prestigious honor is only held by a small handful of orchestras in OCPS. The Boone Chamber Orchestra participated in their "Rating and Comments" track, similar to a National MPA, where they were rated overall the highest possible grade of an Outstanding which is the equivalent of a superior! The orchestra had a great time, all the while making history as the first ever Boone Orchestra to achieve their national debut. We couldn't be prouder of our orchestra program here at Boone!

On Thursday, our students went to MPA and showed OUT! We filled our day with record-breaking and history making music! For the first time in school HISTORY, all Boone Orchestras earned a STRAIGHT SUPERIOR rating- take a look:

🎶 Sinfonia Orchestra, for the second year in a row, earned a STRAIGHT SUPERIOR rating!
🎻 Counterpoint kept the streak alive and for the FOURTH year in a row earned a STRAIGHT SUPERIOR rating!
🎼 Chamber Orchestra made their MPA Debut and earned a STRAIGHT SUPERIOR rating!

Thank you to all our incredible students, we are so proud of your hard work! We are so thankful to everyone who volunteered and contributed in making this accomplishment possible!!

Just like you all, the Boone Orchestra is also eager to get our Prime Day deals in these next two days! Please consider taking advantage of these deals to help us kickstart this upcoming school year.

As we enter our 14th year as an Orchestra, we are still in need of essential items such as pencils, whiteboard erasers, and paper towels. We are also in need of more critical items such as violin, viola, and cello strings.

ANY of these items, big or small, will help our students create beautiful music in a clean and safe environment. Thank you so much for your donation!
