Important information for Howard Middle School families! The intersection of Robinson and Summerlin will be closed starting on Monday. Visitors and parents dropping off and picking up students should use the westbound lane of Robinson to access the school. Please see the attached map for clearer direction. Note the new crosswalk location. It’s been a year of construction and detours but we will make it! Thanks for your patience.

Rising 6th, 7th and 8th grade students, interested in attending Howard Middle Academy of Arts in 2025-2026, are invited to attend Magnet Open House on January 28, 2025, 6:00-7:30PM.
No reservations are required.

On Wednesday, January 22, 2025, 8th graders will have the opportunity to hear representatives from Dr. Phillips high school share information about their magnet program. They plan on being here periods 1 and part of 2. To attend, students need both parent permission and teacher permission as well. Permission slips can be picked up in students U.S. History classes or from Ms. Elder. The deadline to turn the permission slips in is Friday, January 10, 2025.

8th grade students zoned for Boone H.S. are invited to Curriculum Night, January 23, 2025, 6 PM-7:30 PM in the BHS Cafeteria.

Potential students and their parents, interested in attending Howard Middle Academy of Arts in the 2025-2026 school year, are invited to join us for Magnet Open House on January 28, 2025 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. No reservation is required.

Magnet Open House is a great opportunity to see Howard’s campus, meet the staff and have your questions answered as you consider applying for our nationally recognized program.
