Washington Shores Elementary is excited to celebrate Grandparents' Day with our annual Goodies with GRANDS event!
We invite our students to bring a grandparent or special grand to school for a morning of sweet treats, quality time, and special memories.
📅 Friday, September 11th
⏰ 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

📢 Important Transportation Information for Families
Dear Washington Shores Elementary Families,
To help ensure a safe and smooth dismissal each day, please contact your child's teacher as soon as possible to let them know how your child will be going home (bus, car rider, walker, daycare, van service, etc.).
We will also be sending home a Student Transportation Form for you to complete. Please fill out the form and return it to your child's teacher as soon as possible.
Having accurate transportation information helps us ensure every student gets home safely.

The first day of kindergarten is a big milestone for both students and families! Whether you're feeling a little emotional as your child begins this exciting journey or celebrating the start of a new school year, we invite you to join us for our annual Boo Hoo Yahoo Breakfast.
🗓 Date: Tuesday, August 11, 2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM
📍 Location: Washington Shores Elementary Cafetorium
This special gathering is an opportunity for kindergarten parents and guardians to connect with one another, meet school staff, and enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast after dropping off your child for their first day of school.
In addition to breakfast, families will receive valuable information, tips, and resources to help their child get started on the right foot and have a successful kindergarten year. Our team will share ways to support learning at home, stay connected with the school, and help your new Jaguar thrive!
