This is the end of my journey as the Prime Minister for the Jamaican Student Association also known as Jamsa ! I want to thank my eboard for always believing in me and supporting me in every thought and event I threw out there. I know was hard to deal with and sometimes a nag, but I just wanted everyone to reach their full potential and you guys did! I'm proud of each and every single one of you! I was blessed to build friendships that I'll keep for a life time . I was honored to share my Jamaican culture with the UCF community through an organization I help founded. In the moment I didn't see what I was doing! I couldn't see the friendships build, didn't really recognize the people that was looking up to my leadership, didn't really know who supported me! Because in all honesty I was looking up to everyone that shared the same passion I had, I was drawn by everyone story that they wanted share through Jamsa, I was focused on building the family that was already built through our Jamaican blood. I just want to say thank you to JamFam for everything! You helped me grow a lot over this last year; by challenging me to step out my comfort zone and the lead from the forefront ! Today marks the one year anniversary of Jamaican Student Association here at the University of Central Florida. Our founders have started this club to educate about Jamaican culture as well as provide a home for Jamaican natives. Thank you all for the support and cheers to many more years of JAMSA 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

JAMSA’s Fashion House will be having its first link up on Sunday, September 25th, 2016. It will be a Potluck/Pool Party. It will take place at Arden Villas’ Clubhouse (3303 Arden Villas Blvd). It is a chance for us all to relax and get to know one another. In order to come to the event every single person needs to bring an item.
