Deerwood Elementary School-OCPS

October is National Principal's Month, and we're celebrating our amazing principal, Mr. Charlton! Just like the captain of a ship, principals help keep our school safe, support teachers, solve problems, and cheer students on every day. Thank you, Mr. Charlton, for helping our Deerwood Eagles learn, grow, and soar to success!

❤ Eagle Families -- Your Voice Matters! ❤

Beginning today, September 29th, Orange County Public Schools invites all families to participate in the Fall 2026 Stakeholder Survey. Your participation is important because the results will be used as we work to ensure our families’ experiences align with our core values.

You should receive a ParentSquare message today with the link to the survey.

Please take a quick moment to answer the questions about your satisfaction with our school. The family survey is available in multiple languages via the ThoughtExchange platform.

The survey closes on October 13, 2026.

The survey is anonymous, which means no one will know how you answered the questions, so please provide honest, thoughtful feedback. For additional questions or information, please email our school counselor at [email protected].

We thank you for your time,
Deerwood Administration
