FL 881 JROTC

January 24th our cadets participated the Bataan Death March, an extremely productive day. The cadets showed incredible strength and resilience by completing a 14-mile march. It was a powerful reminder of discipline, unity, and perseverance.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended and express our gratitude for the participation, dedication, and effort of every single cadet. Well done to all.

January 17th our marksmanship team had a great time at the competition at Sickles High School!
Everyone did an awesome job and showed a lot of focus.
Special congratulations to Melendez for earning the title of Top Shooter, well deserved!

January 9th, our marksmanship team competed in a competition at Palm Bay High School. Four cadets earned Top Shooter: Feliciano, Orta, Bautista, and Melendez. We are very proud of their dedication and hard work, and we congratulate them and the entire team on a great competition!!!

On January 10th we had our first drill competition of the year at Mainland High School. We are so proud of our cadets, congratulations to Cadet Rolando Alvarado for getting 3rd place in the IDR competition!

Today we had our 2nd Raiders comp of the year at Seminole High School! We won 1st place overall 🥇, as well as 1st place in sit-up’s, female team, male team, and rescue team! Congratulations to our raiders team we are so proud of you guys, keep up the awesome work!! 🏆

On October 10th our marksmanship team competed at their first competition of the year! Cadet Orta earned the sharpshooter Badge 🎉. Congratulations to her and the team!

On October 6th we had our first recruiting event of the year! At Chain Of Lakes Middle School!

On October 4th our Raiders team competed at forest high school! We placed 3rd 🥉 over all, congratulations to our Raiders team we are so proud of you guys!

Today, we celebrate the 78th birthday of the air force! Happy Birthday to the U.S. Air Force!

On Thursday, september 11th our cadet’s honored and remembered those who lost and sacrificed their lives. 24 years ago tragedy struck our nation and we lost the lives of almost 3,000 people. 24 years later our cadets still commemorate this attack by honoring those lost and the brave first responders who risked their lives to save as many people as they could. We will never forget this day, nor the people who sacrificed themselves for the greater good. 🇺🇲

On Thursday, September 11th we got a special visit from the director of AFJROTC Colonel Tipton. He was here to give our current wing commander cadet Myra Feliciano her #1 cadet of the year award and also to speak at our 9/11 ceremony and talk to our wonderful cadets! congratulations again to Myra Feliciano we are so proud of you! 🎉
