We're excited to announce the next Head Coach of our Girls Basketball program!
Ron Schadegg is a highly successful high school basketball coach recognized for building resilient, winning programs and achieving broad postseason success. Over a distinguished career, Schadegg compiled an impressive overall record of 369 wins and 161 losses.

His head coaching tenure is highlighted by two prominent stints at Timber Creek High School, where he first led the boys' basketball team from 2002 to 2013 before returning to the program for the 2024–2025 season. Between his stretches at Timber Creek, Schadegg served as the head coach at Breese Mater Dei High School from 2013 to 2021.

Throughout his career, Schadegg demonstrated an ability to compete at the highest level, taking three separate teams to the State Final Four. His championship-caliber runs featured a fourth-place state finish as well as a standout season cut short when the state tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In recognition of his program's sustained excellence, he was twice named Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) Coach of the Year, earning the honor in 2015 and 2020.
Coach Schadegg is currently serving as a PE teacher and Assistant Athletic Director at LNHS, and we look forward to the impact he will have in the halls and on the court!
