Dear Stakeholders,

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we are launching the process to allocate Florida School Recognition Program funds early, before our first official SAC meeting (scheduled for August 25, 2026).

Per our SAC Bylaws, anyone (parents, teachers, support employees, and business/community members) may serve on the SAC Subcommittee tasked with overseeing the School Recognition Program process. We invite any interested stakeholders to join us in facilitating this important work.

If you are interested in joining the School Recognition Subcommittee to help oversee proposal collection and review for statutory compliance, ballot preparation, and vote tallying, please reply directly to this message or contact Sean Downing via email by the close of business on August 7, 2026.
