CONGRATULATIONS to ASIA for being the winning house this year! SECOND YEAR IN A ROW!

Congratulations also to Antarctica for winning the 4th nine weeks, Asia for winning the 1st & 3rd nine weeks, and Africa for winning the 2nd nine weeks!

OCPS read over 45 million minutes during the Let’s Read, OCPS challenge, and as you have seen from all of the celebrations, we were a big part!

And schoolwise, our HCMS Readers rocked it again this year!
We surpassed our 2 million minute goal on Beanstack earlier in this nine weeks, so Ms. Moye upped it to 2.5 million and WE MET THAT ALSO!

Our HCMS teachers deserve the best. During Teacher Appreciation Week, they were able to enjoy some good food and social time during their special week. Thank you to CHEER, Kindness Club, HCMS PTSA, and HCMS Administration for a wonderful week of celebrating our heroes.

Thank you HCMS teachers and staff for all you do to ensure the safety, well-being and academic excellence of our students. Hunter’s Creek Middle School teachers are the consummate professionals who will do WHATEVER IT TAKES!

Ms. Moye and Ms. H loved celebrating the Eagle Super Reader finishers at the annual ice cream parties! Congratulations to all readers that logged over 25 books this year!

Students in Ms. DeJesus’s class completed passion projects, research projects about something that they are passionate about, and then presented their projects to the class (and some parents came as well to see the presentations!).
