As we close the final chapter of our beloved school, our hearts are filled with gratitude, love, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to our incredible Principal, Ms. Mincey, and our Assistant Principal, Ms. Fox, for leading our school with dedication, compassion, and strength. This school may be closing its doors, but the friendships, lessons, laughter, and impact we shared will remain with us forever. We were more than a school — we were a family. This past Friday, our MWE-TV students were celebrated at the Azteca de Oro restaurant for their dedication and passion and for volunteering their time to inform our school daily. These students have learned technical jobs and how to be in front of the camera🎥! As the last MWE-TV News crew, they will always have a special place in our hearts! Thank you for your work and professionalism! Never, ever forget that:

We wrapped up our week of moving up ceremonies with 5th grade, the class of 2033. Think about where they started. They mastered the basics, like learning to read, sharing their crayons, and surviving recess. They had their challenges too—whether it was learning long division, those tricky science fair projects, or mastering tying their shoes. But they didn't just learn academic subjects, they learned how to be good friends, how to share, and how to work as a team. Congratulations scholars!

Our Last Bell ceremony, honored not only the accomplishments of this year but the long, proud history of our school.

For decades, our school halls have carried the footsteps of generations—students who learned here, dreamed here, and built futures shaped by the lessons within these walls.

Our building has witnessed triumphs, challenges, celebrations, and countless stories that became part of our shared identity.

As our school closes its doors for the final time, we are not just marking an ending. We are preserving a legacy. Every achievement, every tradition, every memory created at our school becomes part of a history that will live on through each of us.

Our resilience, spirit, and commitment ensures that this school’s final chapter is one of pride. Carry its lessons forward! Carry its history with you! And know that you will always be part of something larger; something built over many years, by many hands, with great heart.

Kindergarten, here they come!!! Our VPK scholars celebrated their Moving Up Ceremony today. It has been a privilege to watch our scholars grow, learn, and form friendships throughout the school year. We are so proud of every single one of them. Congratulations!
