Random Acts of Kindness spirit week concluded today. We encourage our students, families, teachers, and staff to continue practicing this beautiful celebration that inspires people to spread love, compassion, and positivity through small, unanticipated acts of kindness. Thank you all for your support!

Happy Valentines Day! Our faculty and staff were acknowledged with hot cocoa and a candy bar 🍫 as a gesture of appreciation. We thank them for their tireless efforts and devotion to our scholars.

We successfully concluded our book fair today. We extend our gratitude to all parents and staff members who supported this school fundraiser. Today, the PTO sponsored book shopping for students who logged the most minutes on Beanstalk for the "Let's Read OCPS" Challenge. Additionally, some staff members generously sponsored students who demonstrated exceptional kindness during Random Acts of Kindness week.

Families please, make sure that you are at the school 20 minutes before the show and bring a valid Florida ID.

And continuing with the celebration of Random Acts of Kindness week, today we wore animal print to highlight our support for kindness. Tomorrow we will be wearing bright colors or tie dye to spread peace, love, and kindness.

Today we celebrated Resilience Day. Resilience is the capacity to recover from difficult circumstances by overcoming obstacles, persisting, and never giving up. Our students exemplify resilience, they bounce back!

Book Fair previews happened on Friday! Our Manatees are excited about book ownership! Remember to visit us on Thursday when shopping hours will be extended until 5:30pm. We will show you how to log minutes on Beanstack and you will enter a drawing for a chance to win a $25 Amazon Gift Card!

We were certainly the kindest place on earth! Our scholars definitively spread kindness around the school by wearing Mickey Mouse or Disney attire. Tomorrow we will be celebrating Resilience Day by wearing a sign that displays a resilience-related word.

From groundbreaking artists and innovators to powerful voices for social justice, we celebrate the incredible contributions of Black individuals who have shaped our world — not just this month, but every day.

We are excited to preview our Book Fair tomorrow and open on Monday! What a great way to log minutes on Beanstalk! Read new books! Our Book Fair runs from February 10 to February 14! We will be offering extended hours on Thursday, February 13th! We will be closing at 5:30pm on this day only, so you can learn how to log minutes on Beanstalk and fall in love with s Book! Looking forward to seeing you!

Our kindergarten class has been patiently waiting for the arrival of their temporary classroom pets. The day is finally here, and the chicks have hatched! They will later be transferred to Mr. Teunis' home, where they will grow and eventually lay eggs, allowing other students to experience this cycle in the future…

Next week we will be celebrating Random Acts of Kindness Week. Join us and help us promote kindness in our school.
