We don’t have grade levels. We have ability groups.
Our students started the year knowing 0 abacus numbers, and little by little progressed at their own rhythm. Children move from group to group based on readiness, effort, growth, and their ability to meet new challenges.
Every child works at the level where they can truly thrive and reach their full potential. This creates an environment where children celebrate each other’s success, support one another, and grow with confidence instead of comparison.
Through the abacus, children are developing strong mental math skills, number sense, visualization, focus, and confidence in mathematics.
Kids have fallen in love with math thanks to Miss Alpa , and during Show Your Learning, they proudly teach parents their strategies while developing communication and public speaking skills.
When children are taught where they truly are, learning becomes meaningful again.

The school year is coming to an end, and what a remarkable year it has been.
Our Morning Program was a complete success, and we are deeply grateful for the trust of every family that has been part of this journey. The growth, learning, creativity, and community we witnessed this year have been extraordinary.
Due to the high demand and the growing number of homeschool families seeking a high-quality educational experience, we are excited to announce the opening of our new Afternoon Program beginning this fall.
Designed for homeschoolers ages 5–7, this program will meet twice a week and will provide:
• Instruction in major academic subjects
• High-quality, play-based learning
• Hands-on exploration and inquiry
• A dedicated space for meaningful play and social connection
At Developing Minds, we believe children deserve both strong academics and the opportunity to play, create, move, and discover.
If you have an older child interested in joining, we currently have a waitlist available for older age groups as well.
