On August 15th, your Central Florida ABA Board gathered for our annual Board Retreat! 🐊🧡💙

We were honored to be joined by UF Alumni Association Director of Alumni Engagement, Courtney Quirie, as we spent a full morning planning, discussing, and strategizing with one goal in mind: YOU — our Central Florida UF ABA family!

Our Chapter President introduced our theme for the 2026–2027 fiscal year:
ROOTED. RISING. LEADING.
Rooted in History. Rising with Purpose. Leading with Impact.

She also unveiled a new signature program that we cannot wait to share with you! 👀🐊

We were also excited to welcome our new President-Elect, whose leadership will be an important part of the year ahead.

Everyone arrived energized, engaged, and full of great ideas—and we left even more excited about what’s ahead for our chapter! We’re committed to making this an amazing year for YOU!

Help us congratulate our 2026 Scholarship Recipients and welcome them to Gator Nation with open arms! 🐊🧡💙

This year, we’re proud to celebrate three incredible students — Blake, Rodrigo and Jean — as they head off to the University of Florida. Each of them brings a unique passion, drive, and heart for making a difference, and we can’t wait to see everything they accomplish.

Join us in celebrating their achievements and cheering them on as they begin this exciting new chapter!

A very special THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our 2026 Family Reunion Scholarship & Awards BBQ! We had a Gator Good Time. 🐊

There was food, dancing, door prizes, laughs, and lots of catching up — plus we heard the kids’ table got a little too competitive over a game of Uno 👀🫣🤭

Best of all, we celebrated our scholarship recipients (stay tuned, we’ll be highlighting them soon!) and presented our Distinguished Alumni Award (another highlight coming your way)!
