Hispanic Heritage Month kicks off September 15th instead of the 1st, timed to the independence days of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, all celebrated that same day. Mexico and Chile's independence days follow shortly after, rounding out a month full of celebration.

💙🧡 Color Exploration in Our Infant Room! 🧡💙

Our babies had a wonderful time exploring the contrast between light and dark colors! Using a soft scarf, we first introduced blue, describing the color as the babies watched and explored. Then we switched to a bright orange scarf to see how they responded to the change.

Both colors captured their attention! 👀✨ Activities like this encourage visual tracking, color awareness, focus, and sensory development while giving our littlest learners a fun way to discover the world around them.

Even the simplest experiences can create BIG learning moments for our babies! 💙🧡

Who says learning has to stay inside the classroom? Ms. Miriam took her Kindergarten students outdoors for a special reading adventure on the lawn! 📖🌿
Changing the learning environment gives children a fresh and exciting way to experience a story. Reading outside encourages listening skills, comprehension, imagination, conversation, and a love for books—all while enjoying some fresh air and sunshine! ☀️
The children loved getting cozy on the grass, listening to the story, and learning in a whole new setting.
Sometimes the best classroom has blue skies and green grass! 💚📚🌳
