โœจ๐ŸŽ‰ Happy New Year, Lynx Community! ๐ŸŽ‰โœจ

We hope everyone enjoyed a joyful and restful holiday break. We look forward to starting the new year together with continued success.

Before heading into break, our Lynx Campus came together to celebrate the holiday season with a festive and joyful Lynx Holiday Celebration. Thanks to the generosity of our PVO and families, staff received thoughtful holiday gift bags, and every student was sent off into Winter Break with a giftโ€”ensuring all our Orcas felt appreciated and celebrated.

Our Holiday Gift Card Drive wrapped up with incredible family support, and words truly are not enough to express how grateful we are to the families who participated so generously. Your kindness brought so much encouragement to our teachers and staff, who were sincerely appreciative of the gift cards they received.

Staff also enjoyed Lynx favorites like Secret Santa and White Elephant games, filling campus with laughter and holiday cheer. A special thank you to Ms. Lavoy and her secret elves for organizing the fun!

๐Ÿ’™ We are grateful for the continued support of our PVO and our Lynx families. Hereโ€™s to a wonderful year ahead! ๐Ÿพโœจ

๐ŸŽญโœจ Campus Creativity Showcase: Bright Minds. Brighter Futures. โœจ๐ŸŽญ

Creativity Shines Bright Here! Our students continue to bring โ€œBright Minds. Brighter Futures.โ€ to lifeโ€”one performance at a time.

Our 7th Grade Theater Class delighted the audience with a whimsical and energetic production of A Seussified Pride and Prejudice! From expressive characters to confident stage presence, students showed just how much imagination and talent live on our campus. It was a performance full of flair, fun, and Seuss-worthy smiles.

๐ŸŽฉ๐Ÿ“œ A truly Seuss-tacular thank-you to Ms. Weatherby, who guided this cast with creativity, rhythm, and theatrical magicโ€”no small task, not even a tad! She helped our students think big, perform boldly, and bring Dr. Seussโ€“style storytelling to life on stage.

Bravo to our performers and thank you to everyone who came out to support the show. Oh, the bright futures ahead!

๐ŸŽถโœจ Campus Creativity Showcase: Bright Minds. Brighter Futures. โœจ๐ŸŽถ

Creativity Shines Bright Here! From musical performances to powerful presentations, our students continue to express their brilliance in every mediumโ€”bringing the theme โ€œBright Minds. Brighter Futures.โ€ to life.

We are proud to share that the OSMS Winter Concert was a tremendous success! 160 students across four ensemblesโ€”7th Grade Band, 8th Grade Band, 7th Grade Orchestra, and 8th Grade Orchestraโ€”performed 11 songs to a packed house at Orlando Family Stage.

Many of our 7th-grade musicians were brand-new players who touched an instrument for the first time just three months ago, while our orchestras are only in their second year as a full program. Despite limited full-ensemble rehearsals, our students delivered confident, inspiring performances that showcased growth, teamwork, and dedication.

๐Ÿ‘ A sincere thank you to Ms. Terlizzese for her leadership and to our students and families for supporting the arts. This concert was a powerful example of how bright minds create and how creativity builds brighter futures.
