I did not realize this, or understand this, growing up.
I thought I HAD to have a job to make a living and have security.

Economic security and JOB security are 2 separate things.
I valued security so much that part of the reason I chose my profession was because I expected nurses would always have a job.
Then when a global pandemic shut the world down, 1.4 million Healthcare workers were LAID OFF 🤯.
AND...our family has personally experienced TWO job lay offs (one when I was 7 months pregnant with twins 😳😳).
"JOB security" is a myth.
But that does not mean you cannot have INCOME security.
