Hi Everyone. I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed helping the schools with Christmas gifts and food for families that need a little extra help/. Also doing the back to schools
Backpacks, School Supplies drive. As well have a food drive for Thanksgiving . I am now living in Murphy North Carolina. I am hoping that I can start doing this here as well. Thank you everyone for all the donations and help.

I Started this page in 2007, Although I had been helping foster kids age out of the system since about 2004, In 2007 I also started helping the schools in my Area. With furniture, household items,clothes, baby furniture, and more. I was also helping DCF with foster kids that were aging out of the system, with furniture , house hold items clothes for job interview and other clothing baby items, toys and more.. At Thanksgiving I set up food drives for the families through The school, and DCF. Have been able to help each year between 50 to 60 families with Thanksgiving food. Christmas I also set up donation boxes at business, And I posted on Facebook groups every year that we needed sponsors for families that needed help for the holidays. I was able to have helped with toys, food, new clothes, gift cards, and more for 100 to 178 kids every year with the help of the Community. Back to schools I also set up donations boxes for school supples and back packs, I filled the back packs with items need for the grade level and took them to the schools. I also was able with the community's help. To help 75 to 139 kids each year./ I am sorry to say that in 2007 was my last year . This all took place in Orlando Fl. I have moved to Murphy N.C. And would love to start this up here. Thanks again to everyone that has helped with donations for these school and foster care . This is something I loved doing. It took a lot to organize, But I did it, And did it for years alone. Except for the last 2 years I had a helper. She was awesome.

I really enjoyed helping the schools and families in Orlando, Fl for the past 15 years. It makes me feel great doing what I was doing to help. However I am now living in Murphy N C and hopefully be able to continue helping families Through the schools. Thank you all that sponsored families. And donated items, for Back to school . Thanksgiving and Christmas to help our Community. I am leaving the web page up and hopefully will be able to continue to help families here through the schools.

New UP DATE AS OF 11/30/17 AT 12.07 PM. We have family only 3 families left. A is left for school # 2. And We still have all the families 2 left for school # 1. We also have more schools getting list ready and will be updated soon as I get them. I am also dropping off another toy drive box off with Kyle Sue Kramer at Velz Screen at Unit 1 406 Forrestal Ave 32806 .She lives in Conway and her Business is off Orange near Holden. Thank you Kyle for joining us this year to collect toys for the Conway schools. I will also be putting a box up Shelby Ge**er and Jennifer at JW Salon on Curry Ford Near Bumby . Thanks Guys. That will give us 4 boxes to fill more than once and a lot of families to be adopted. We got this Conway. I am Aiming to help 200 kids this year.
Okay Conway, We have the first Christmas donation box up With Aldo Bella at Bella Italia Pizza, Next to Winn Dixie on Michigan and Conway Rd. I will have the second one up with Bethanne Baer and the Bear Team tomorrow, On the corner of Crystal Lake and Grant. The toy donations fill in for families that do not get adopted for Christmas., Also if you would like to help a family this year for Christmas, I have 6 families now that need adopted. . These families have 2 to 4 children each. I will have more coming in each day. Thanks Conway for helping me help families in our Community through our Conway Schools each year. Each year it gets bigger and bigger. We have helped 125 kids the year before last. Last year was a little over a 100 last year with me doing this from North Carolina with a couple people here helping. So this year I am hear. and I would love to beat those numbers. These are families that would not have Christmas with out our help. Remember all the families I get are given to me by the schools. We have babies up to high school kids. When someone picks a family, I will put taken next to the family.

Sorry for posting so late,. Had a lot going on . I was in North Carolina during Christmas in 201 But I am so happy to say that I was still able to help over75 kids for Christmas. I had 2 people helping me in Fl. with the schools. I was able to get these kids and there families adopted for Christmas. So happy I am able to do this with the help of my community . Sorry I do not have photos this year.

I have a family that is in need of Christmas help. 1 Child with special needs. Please let me know if you would like to adopt this family, By Buying Christmas gifts for the child.

We are getting ready for Christmas. I have been in touch with the schools and will be getting a list of family's from each of the 14 schools in Conway. If you would like to adopt a family for Christmas, help pick up from drop off locations please let me know.. Or you can drop off a toy at one of our locations. We have a drop off box at The Bear Team realtor on Crystal Lake and Grant, One a Aldo's Next to the Winn Dixie and Wing Shack, On Conway and Michigan. and at JW on Curry Ford and Bumby next to the 7'11 and at Tucan tanning on Curry Ford between Crystal lake and Bumby. As I get more drop off locations I will post.

Okay the Back Pack Drive is in full swing.. Here are the locations to drop off back packs and school supplies. We have 14 schools to deliver to. And are in need of more than 200 back packs and schools.

and is a drop off location. Easy for you all that work down town. Alex is also having an event to collect back packs and school supplies. Here is the link for the event.

I will start taking donations of New back packs, school supplies, new boys and girls socks and underwear, for our Conway Schools. These can be dropped off at any of the locations that i will post in the middle July. I am also taking boys and girls elementary size clothing and shoes. New or used.However the used clothing and shoes must be in good condition for children to wear to school. These can be dropped off to me. I do not want to fill the back pack and school Supply boxes with clothing. Thanks everyone.

All Elm. schools are still in need of NEW underwear and socks. All sizes. Also pants, shorts, and shirts sizes 4 through 8. Can be used. BUT MUST be in good and clean condition. You can drop them off at any of the Elm. schools or I can pickup. Conway Elm. can use more fruit snacks and big jugs of bubble for the class they set up for the children with autism.

I am going on my 10th year in helping family's in the Conway area. I help the schools with donations of clothing,household items and anything else they need help with,I collect Back packs and school supplies for back to school, Food drive for Thanksgiving, and Toy and food drive for Christmas. I take donations all year. I also get request for other items at times from the schools.
