We had a great turnout today for our tournament on Lake Toho out of Big Toho Marina! Second place was the team of John and Andrew with a bag weighing in at 17.13 pounds. The big fish of the tournament was caught by Nick and Landon weighing 7.3 pounds. First place was won by our UCF alumni and prior bass team member John Calkins, ._.jon and his partner Gio, with a 22.6 pound bag! Congratulations to all teams involved!

Thank you to everyone who was able to come out today and support the team, we greatly appreciate you all for showing up to our tournaments to raise money for all of our endeavors in tournament fishing. We hope to see you all, and more, at our tournament next weekend on 4/6/2024 for our collaboration tournament with the UF Bass Fishing Team out of Buzzard Beach, the info for that tournament is on our page feel free to reach out and ask any questions regarding that.

The next fundraiser tournament we are hosting will be on March 30th out of Big Toho Marina on Lake Toho . This should be a good one, bring your family and friends and come support the ucf bass fishing team as we raise funds to support our college fishing endeavors. We are hoping to have a big raffle after weigh in with items from our sponsors including shirts, hats, baits, reels, coolers, and more! Y’all won’t want to miss this one! Mark your calendars!

Registration will be the morning of at the ramp, launch will be at first light. The tournament entry fee is $75 with a 70% payout, with an optional 25$ big fish that is 100% pay out. Hope to see you all there for our next fundraiser of 2024!

Our next open body meeting is coming up! March 14th at 6:30pm at Mudhole. All UCF students are welcome to attend and there will be pizza. If you have built a custom rod, bring it with you! There will be a brief presentation on rod building.

Yesterday’s rain didn’t stop the bass from biting at our Lake Monroe Fundraiser. Grady & Davis got 1st Place with 14lbs 11oz, they also got big fish with a 8lb 4oz kicker. Anthony and Richard got 2nd Place with 10lbs 5oz. Danny and Travis got 3rd with 7lbs 3oz. Thanks to everyone who braved the weather and fished our fundraiser tournament. Our next Fundraiser will be March 30th on the Kissimmee Chain out of Big Toho Marina. We hope to get a big turnout!

Justin was catching them today on the Baitsanity Antidote in the color Sardine. The antidote is a very versatile bait that is great for covering open water or to fish target specific areas and our Florida Largemouth absolutely love them!

We had some tough anglers out today at our first fundraiser on Lake Yale. David and Ellis got first place with 28lbs 2oz and Cooper and Sean got 2nd with 11lbs 11oz. Our next fundraiser is 2/17 on Lake Monroe. We hope to see yall there!

After day 1 being cancelled due to yesterdays weather our guys are out on the water today representing UCF at College National Championship. Make sure to tune into MLF live starting at 3:30pm to watch Grady, Justin, Kyle and Ryan weight in!

Our tournament on the Kissimmee chain last Saturday is a wrap! It took a 20.25 pound bag to secure first place and big fish of the tournament was a 6.5 pounder. Thank you to everyone for coming to support the team this past weekend! We appreciate all the support and will be continuing to put on more fundraisers this year so be on the lookout for more of our fundraiser flyers, we hope everyone who couldn’t make it out this month will be able to for the next one!

Congratulations to our team of Kyle Brewer and Ryan Friedly for the 17th place finish today on Lake Hartwell with a 13-3 pound bag! These boys have been getting after it recently, and we know they are stocked to punch their ticket to the National Championship on Lake Toho here at home. We now have two teams that will be competing in the spring for the National Championship, Go Knights Charge On!

This past weekend was our Lake Monroe Fundraiser Tournament. Congrats to the 1st Place team, Anthony and Shawn, with 15.15lbs and a nice big fish weighting 5.15lbs. Also congrats to the second place team, Brycen & David, with 8.25lbs. Don’t forget our next fundraiser is 11/11 out of Camp Mack on the Kissimmee Chain. More info coming soon.
