CPNM is excited to announce its first scholarship award for PARC 2025!

Welcome to PARC Kristine Hahm!

Kristine's research examines cancer outcomes in low-income communities using the SEER-Medicaid dataset from a geospatial perspective. This may serve as a powerful agitator for community-driven solutions to complex healthcare challenges. Also, studying the patterns illuminating systemic barriers to cancer care will be visible through overlaying cancer statistics with factors like proximity to healthcare facilities, accessibility to oncology care centers, and transportation networks.

"Attending the PARC 2025 conference will allow me to introduce my research to a broader audience by networking with experts outside the health policy department. The conference also provides an opportunity to introduce the SEER-Medicaid dataset to a wider audience of researchers, fostering a deeper understanding of its value".

We are looking forward to meeting you, Kristine!
