CRJ's Beit Midrash Engaging our Pre-K through 6th-grade students in meaningful experiential Jewish learning that is relevant to their lives.

The goals of The Steinmetz Family Jewish Education Engagement Program (JEEP):
• Learners will acquire Jewish knowledge, skills, and character.
• Learners will understand and appreciate their Jewish heritage.
• Learners will have the ability to participate actively at CRJ, at home, and elsewhere.
• Learners will become ethically and socially responsible members of the local and global Jewish
commun

• Acts of g’milut chasadim (lovingkindness) and tzedakah (justice) are a way of life.

We had the best first day of Beit Midrash! 🌟 The energy in the building was electric as kids reconnected after summer and parents caught up over coffee. Rabbi Jackson & Soloist Laurie led us in a spirited, ruach-filled T'Filah to kick off the year. Big thanks to our Board of Directors for sponsoring the parent coffee & nosh! We are so excited to engage, connect, and journey through the upcoming school year together.

New school year, same comforting Friday night traditions. Before the homework piles up and the busy schedules take over, let’s gather as a community to unplug, connect, and welcome the first Shabbat of the school year together.

Bring the whole family for a warm, delicious dinner following the end of services.

Yesterday, we officially kicked off the school year at our Homecoming event!

Our Beit Midrash families connected with their teachers, while the kids had a blast racing through the inflatable obstacle course. Members had the chance to discover everything CRJ has to offer—from learning about our Sisterhood and signing up for rewarding volunteer opportunities to previewing the exciting lineup of upcoming events. Add in plenty of CRJ swag and a delicious cookout with burgers and hot dogs, and it made for a perfect celebration!

Seeing our building come alive with familiar faces, new families, and incredible energy was wonderful.

We can’t wait to welcome our Beit Midrash families back on Sunday, August 23 for the first day of classes! After drop-off, parents are warmly invited to the social hall for our First Day Parent Coffee & Nosh, generously sponsored by our Board of Directors.
