The instructor at Everybody Dance studio, Stuart Nichols, began his dance career in 1985 at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Birmingham, Alabama; he remained with the Fred Astaire chain for the following ten years, which took him from Atlanta, Georgia to Hernando County, Florida, and eventually back to the city of his birth, Winter Park, Florida; here he taught for 18 years at Rollins College, and
began teaching a popular municipal dance program through the City of Winter Park in 1995 which continues to this day. Stuart has been a member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing since 2000 and holds Fellowships on the Ballroom and Latin faculties; in 2022, he edited the 11th edition of Ballroom Dancing by Alex Moore, published by Routledge, Oxford.
