Yesterday, we had a blast at STEAMions Lab 💛 field trip at Kids ‘R’ Kids Landstar! Our STEAM Teams learned about elasticity, the color wheel, and antidotes to help our lovable STEAMion friends! The teams used creativity, artistic skills, and the engineering process to design an arcade game that “delivered” the antidote to evil STEAMions. Students applied the concept of elasticity in their arcade game. To top it all off, we made banana popcorn slime! 🍌

We’ve just wrapped up our 5-day Shark Camp during Shark Week, and what a week it was! We celebrated by bringing our Bridge to Sharktooth Island book to life. Our STEAM Teams joined characters Daniel, Joy, Kimani, and Davinci on their Sharktooth Island adventures, from bridge-building to pirate ship exploring to mixing up spectacular slime oceans. They dove into the fascinating world of SHARKS and tackled an ocean full of shark-inspired challenges!
