🌟 What a night at the Rêveur’s Amazing Dream Race!
Families teamed up for five challenges: Reach for the Stars, Pipe Dream, Star Sorter, Dream Fragments and Cloud Chaser. They worked together to complete them all and earn points along the way. Five students also earned bonus points for showing the most spirit! 🎉
Three teams came out on top, but everyone helped make Rêveur’s Bonding Night a wonderful time. Thank you to all the families who joined us! 💙
A special thank-you to Mrs. Moon for planning such a great event; Mr. Jesso, Mrs. Mercedes Rodriguez, Mrs. Keene, Mr. Paschall, Ms. Melissa Rodriguez, Mr. Fiddle, Ms. Goldenberg, Mrs. Cartier, Ms. Moquete, Ms. Mapuhi, Ms. Noemi, Ms. Salinas for helping set up, run stations, pass out food, check-in families, etc. Thank you, Ms. Tiffany for helping coordinate getting supplies, food, and decor. THREE DAYS LEFT, WILDCATS! 💚🐾

Our Wildcat families have taken this fundraiser somewhere we never expected! We’re currently at an incredible $28,155, which means our $30,000 stretch goal is within reach.

THREE DAYS. $1,845. THAT’S THE CHALLENGE.

Maybe there’s one more grandparent, neighbor, aunt, uncle, or family friend who would love to support your Wildcat. A quick text, email, or fundraiser share could help us get a little closer!

And while reaching $30,000 would be AMAZING, this fundraiser has always been about more than the number on the thermometer. Every donation, every share, and especially every act of kindness has made this fundraiser something truly special.

The final number is just one part of this story — what means the most is the incredible support and kindness our Wildcat families have shown along the way. 💚

Is your 3rd-5th grade scholar interested in participating in Lion King KIDS this year? If so, they are invited to come to our students-only interest meeting on Tuesday, October 6th until 4:30pm. They will learn all about the show, the different parts, and even learn some of the songs for the upcoming auditions! After school, students will report to Miss Banta’s classroom at dismissal for the meeting to begin. Happy Custodian Appreciation Day to Mercedes, Odalys, Jeptha and Yasser! 💚💛🐾

These four work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep West Creek clean, safe, and ready for our Wildcats every single day. From everyday messes to the unexpected ones (and we know there are plenty! 😂), they are always there to help keep our school shining. ✨

We truly would be a MESS without you! 🧹🫧

Mr. Jesso has made a tremendous impact through his leadership, support, and connections with our students. 🚨 WILDCATS, WE HAVE A NEW CLASS CHALLENGE! 🚨

You all are doing SO AMAZING with our Kindness Fundraiser that we’ve had to ADD TWO NEW PRIZE LEVELS! 🎉 And now we have another challenge for you!

🐾 CLASS CHALLENGE 🐾

Any class that reaches its NEXT prize level by Friday at 2:00 PM will be entered into a drawing for a SPECIAL CLASS PRIZE!

For example: If your class has raised $700 and the next prize level is $750, get to $750 by Friday at 2 PM and your entire class is entered!

It doesn’t matter where your class is on the leaderboard — this challenge is about getting to YOUR next level! 🙌

And what exactly is the special prize? 🤔

We’re keeping that a SECRET! 🤫

Mr. Jesso will announce the winning class AND reveal the mystery prize during Monday morning announcements!

🐾 HOW PAW-SOME ARE OUR WILDCAT FAMILIES?! 🐾

We did it! Our Wildcat community has officially PASSED our original $24,000 goal, and we are absolutely blown away by the support our families have shown! 💚💛

PTA and WCES are incredibly grateful for every donation, every share, every text and email sent, and every family that has helped make our Kindness Fundraiser such a success.

But as AMAZING as $24,802 raised is, there’s another number we’re even more excited about…

❤️ 105 Kindness Passports have already been turned in! ❤️

That means our Wildcats have completed more than 315 acts of kindness at school, at home, and throughout our community — and they’re still going!

Holding a door. Helping a friend. Writing a kind note. Picking up trash. Helping a sibling. Thanking a teacher. Making someone smile.

Little acts of kindness can make a BIG difference, and our Wildcats are proving it!

Now we want to hear about them! What acts of kindness have your kiddos completed? Leave us a comment or share a picture on our page! We would LOVE to see our Wildcats spreading kindness in our community. 💕

And since our Wildcats absolutely CRUSHED the original fundraising goal… we’ve decided to see just how far they can go.

🍬 FEED THE MONSTERS… AND NAME ONE TOO! 👀

Our Trunk or Treat candy monsters are HUNGRY, and we need your help filling them up!

Students can bring in donations of individually wrapped candy AND non-candy treats and “feed” our monsters at school. Every donation helps us make our 1st Annual Trunk or Treat a fun night for our West Creek families!

💚 But wait… our big green monster needs a NAME!

Her little brother is Noah Nomster, but she still needs the perfect name! Submit your best, silliest, sweetest, or most monstrously creative suggestion in the monster box in the lobby.

🏆 We’ll choose the winning name Friday after school!

🐾 National Walk to School Day is October 7! 🐾

Join us for a fun and healthy start to the day! Families are invited to meet us at Vista 1 Park, the park closest to the school, at 8:00 AM as we walk or bike to school together.

Don’t forget to wear your Wildcat Spirit Wear and show your school pride!
Parents, please plan to accompany your child during the walk or bike ride from the park to school.

Before heading out, take a few moments to review important pedestrian and bicycle safety tips with your child:
Use sidewalks whenever available.
Cross streets only at marked crosswalks.
Walk in groups when possible.
Wear a helmet when riding a bike.
The safety of our students is always our top priority, and we look forward to reinforcing safe habits while enjoying a fun community event together.
