Tomorrow, Friday, August 14, we’re celebrating Amistad’s 2025–2026 House Championship! 🏆❤️

We’re asking all of our Wildcats to WEAR RED as we celebrate Amistad and raise their championship flag! 🚩 The flag will proudly fly all school year in honor of their victory!

🎡 It’s also House Sorting Day for our new Wildcats!
Our new students will spin the House Wheel and officially become a member of one of our four houses:

💙 Reveur: House of Dreamers

Be sure to ask your child which house they landed in when they get home! 🎉

🐾 Important Safety Update for West Creek Families

To support a safe arrival and dismissal process, OCPS has revised its expectations for electric and motorized transportation devices on school campuses.

Here’s what families need to know:

❌ Motorized devices are not permitted: Students may not bring e-bikes, e-scooters, hoverboards, one-wheeled devices, or other electrically powered transportation devices onto school property.

🚲 Non-motorized options are still allowed: Traditional bicycles, non-motorized scooters, skateboards, and similar human-powered devices may still be used.

🚶 Students must walk their wheels: All wheeled devices should be walked while entering and leaving the West Creek campus.

🗓️ Transition period: Families have until Tuesday, September 8, to make any needed alternative transportation arrangements.

Thank you for partnering with us to keep our students and campus safe. Please review the flyer for complete details and speak with your student about the safest way to travel to and from school.
