Synapse Neurology is pleased to offer observership opportunities for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) looking for more clinical experience in the USA. For those interested in pursuing residency in the USA, it can be important to gain first hand knowledge of how the medical system in the U.S. operates.
We offer 8-week rotations located outside of Orlando, Florida, where you are personally teamed with a board certified physician in Neurology. You need to do an 8 weeks rotation with us to receive your LOR. This unique experience can greatly enhance your clinical experience and boost your confidence when taking interviewing for residency. Several of our previous students have rated this their best observership experience and have matched into residency in the USA.

Eligibility of observers:
1. Graduation from a medical school listed in the International Medical Education Directory (IMED)
2. Passing score on one or more United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
*This observership is absolutely free and there are no hidden future costs. The only cost associated with this program is a $200 application fee (to avoid non-serious candidates). The applicant is responsible for obtaining proper visa and securing living accommodation during their observership.
