✨🎉 What a fun week of learning and exploring! 🎉✨

This week, we enjoyed discovering our Five Senses! 👀👂✋👃👅 We explored different textures with our hands, listened and danced to music 🎶, created beautiful art with colorful paints 🎨, enjoyed a delicious lunch 🍎🍽️, and used our sense of smell to explore different scents and essences 🌸🍋.

We also had fun learning about the numbers 1 through 10! 🔢✨ Our little learners focused especially on the number 2! 2️⃣💕

And to end the week with lots of fun, everyone enjoyed a cozy Pajama Friday! 💤🧸🌙 We loved seeing all our little learners in their adorable pajamas! 😊💖

Learning is always more fun when we can explore, create, play, and have fun together! 🌟🎈🎨

🌟 Teacher of the Month – July 🌟

Congratulations to Luisa Guzman, our Teacher of the Month for July! 🎉

Luisa has been a valued member of the Ladybird Academy of Avalon family for 2 years and 11 months. During her time with us, she has taught in our Grasshoppers 🦗, Butterflies 🦋, and Ladybugs 🐞 classrooms, making a positive impact on every child she has worked with.

She has a true passion for caring for children ❤️ and loves creating fun and engaging crafts 🎨✂️ that inspire creativity and learning.

Outside of school, Luisa is the proud mother of two children 👩‍👧‍👦 and a loving grandmother to two granddaughters 💕.

🏡🌟 Family of the Month – July 2026 🌟🏡

Congratulations to the Serrano-Chavez Family, our Family of the Month for July 2026! 🎉

Eduardo and Veronica are the proud parents of Esteban and Victoria. Esteban is a former Ladybird student, and Victoria is currently attending and will be joining our Pre-K classroom this August. 📚✨

The family calls Orlando, Florida home. Veronica is originally from Chicago, Illinois, and Eduardo is proudly from San Germán, Puerto Rico. ❤️

They enjoy spending quality time together by watching movies 🎬 and visiting family and friends.

The Serrano-Chavez family loves being part of the Ladybird Academy of Avalon Park community because of the warmth, kindness, and love shown by our teachers and staff every day. Victoria especially loves the care she receives from her teachers, administrators, and classmates. 💛

🌸 This Week in Our Classroom 🌸

This week we explored our Land theme! 🌿 We made beautiful flowers, enjoyed sensory science by touching water 💧, mixed colors 🎨, and reviewed our colors. We also created art with aluminum foil ✨.

In Math, we practiced spatial relation words 📍. We learned about recycling ♻️ and how to take care of our planet. We also reviewed the letter P 🔤.

We had a wonderful week full of learning and fun! 💚😊

This week we reviewed the letter A and practiced numbers 11–20. 🅰️🌈🔢✨ We created moon shadows using black and white paint to decorate the moon. 🌙🎨🖌️🤍🖤 We also made a fun space scene filled with stars and imagination! 🚀⭐🌟💫

In science, we explored moon mud and enjoyed sensory play. 🌙🥣😄 We also made a sensory bag with yellow paint to represent the stars in the sky. ⭐💛✨🌟🖐️

We also practiced fine motor skills, including using scissors. ✂️😊🌈 We had a great week learning, creating, and having fun with friends! 🎉🚀💫

🌞✨ This week we continued our Sky Theme ☁️🌎⭐! We created beautiful art by making ⭐ stars in the sky, learned about the ☀️ sun and 🪐 planets, and used 🪶 feathers as paintbrushes to create unique masterpieces. 🎨

📖🐥 We also created a special art project inspired by the book My Little Chicken, encouraging creativity and a love for reading. 🎨✨

🔢 Our youngest learners practiced numbers 1–10 and worked on number recognition. We also reviewed the letter M and had fun creating it with colorful craft sticks! 🌈🔤✨

🎭🏠 The children enjoyed spending time in Dramatic Play, using their imagination and developing social skills through pretend play and teamwork. 😊✨

💻📚 We also visited the Computer Lab and the Library, where the children explored technology and enjoyed books and stories.

🌟 It was another exciting week full of creativity, discovery, imagination, and hands-on learning! 🚀☀️⭐😊💙
