Off to coach and teach at Open Homes. I get the honor and privilege of spending time with 30 ambitious and motivated men who are growing and making a difference in their lives, their family's lives and those in their sphere of influence. I wanted to drop a quick note on a great way to reach our community. Ilene Wilkins, CEO of UCP of Central Florida, has reached out to me for help. This Saturday, May, 14 we have been given the privilege of serving the Beta Center where we can show our love to these young teenage moms and little children.

BETA Center is a private, nonprofit organization with 35 years of experience helping families, regardless of age or economic status, in the greater Orlando area including Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. With a focus on parenting, teen moms and at-risk families, BETA Center changes behaviors and lives. The agency offers a wide range of services to support children and families, increase healthy family functioning and prevent child abuse and neglect.

They were about to close, when United Cerebral Palsy https://www.ucpcfl.org acquired them. However, the place needs some maintenance. We will be performing yard work, raking, mowing, cleanup, pressure washing, etc. I will be proving most of the equipment, such as rakes, wheel barrow and pressure washer, but need some loving hands.

Now, I have know Ilene Wilkins for years and she is an amazing servant. She has given us the opportunity to serve many times over the years and this would be a wonderful way for us to give back to someone who has impacted thousands of at-risk kids and families over the years.
