Every time Wayne steps into a room, the level instantly rises. His musicianship, wisdom, and calm, encouraging presence always seem to land exactly right with our students. He has a gift for helping young musicians see what’s possible—and then helping them rise to it.
We are incredibly fortunate that he chooses to spend time on our campus and invest in our jazz ensembles. The students walked out better players and better people because of him.
