We’re all aboard bound for Perth. See you soon at Qantas Domestic Terminal 1.45pm.
It’s been a long 20+ hours of travelling time, but totally worth it!!

We had a sleep in this morning, and then a 3 hour shopping trip to the outlets! Waiting for our transfer to Orlando Airport ready for our long journey home to Perth, with a lot of extra baggage...

Early start this morning at Universal Studios with the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit STEAM Educational experience. Students were given iPads and from watching below were able to see velocity changes at various stages of the ride. Those brave enough then got to ride the Rip Ride Rockit!! The rest of the day was spent between the 2 parks of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

Ready for the onslaught of 12 hours at Universal Studios with 22 teenagers!! Wardrobe coordination devoid of style ticks the Risk Management box!!

Another early morning start and a long day. A visit to Kennedy Space Centre commenced with a film about the Atlantis Shuttle which was very informative, but our breath was taken away when the curtains parted to reveal the actual Atlantis shuttle suspended from the ceiling. We were able to view the inside of the shuttle and were left speechless with the enormity of it all. We were fortunate to share lunch with an astronaut who had completed 4 mIssions. We learnt about the process of choosing, storing and heating food in Space- it didn’t look very appetising. Don moved around to all tables to meet his guests, and even commented on how well mannered our students were. Our day at Kennedy concluded with a bus ride through the launching areas, and we got to have a tour of a control room facility that was used during the various Shuttle Programs. We enjoyed dinner together at our favourite American buffet house- Golden Corral!!
