Debate isn’t just speeches and tournaments — it’s the friendships, the laughter before rounds, the late practices, the matching outfits, the candid photos, and the people who turn a team into a family. So proud of every single inductee and award recipient tonight. 🫶🎤📸

Debate inductions are here! The ceremony will be on Friday, May 15th from 6:00-7:30 PM in the Media Center. Novices will officially be inducted as varsity members, seniors will give their farewell speeches, next year’s leadership team will be introduced, and more! Formal/tournament attire is required. Both varsity members and inductees are required to attend — don’t miss it.

This past weekend, our LNHS debaters took a road trip to the sunny city of Sarasota for the annual FCDI State Tournament at the New College of Florida! We are so proud of all our team members who came all the way out to compete!

Our Vertical Raise Spring fundraiser has officially launched! The best part is: supporters can purchase the Vertical Raise discount app as part of their donation, earning them discounts to several local stores! Outside supporters can donate and are greatly appreciated.

Help us raise funds to support current and future debaters by donating before April 20th! Reminder that debate team members are required to sign-up for the fundraiser through slack and input their contacts as well.

It’s that time of the year again! Participate in our spring semester Vertical Raise fundraiser to help our team go to nationals AND start next year off strong. For debate team members: there will be a meeting after school in Room 615 this Monday, 04/6 to launch the fundraiser. Attendance is mandatory, so please come prepared with at least 10 phone numbers and 20 email contacts of potential supporters.
