I often reflect on how important it is to have at least one funding organization believe in your vision and mission. It’s not always about the amount of money they provide. Sometimes, the confidence and support of a single funder can encourage other organizations to get involved because they see that your work has already earned credibility and backing. The Leadership Capacity Building Seminar is the first Project to receive funding from a new program offered by the Community Redevelopment Agency . The support from the CRA helped our seminar bring together grassroots nonprofits to connect, share resources, and highlight the important work they're doing in the community. Their sponsorship assisted with our initiative to create valuable opportunities for collaboration, strengthen community partnerships, and reach more people with a lasting impact. We appreciate the partnership and support. The Eatonville Chamber will continue to bring diverse educational opportunities to the Historic Town of Eatonville. If you're interested in learning more about our programs, events and opportunities for partnership please reach out.

Yesterday was the first Chamber Coffee Break that I have missed in nine years. However, I wasn’t worried about things not going well. I knew that the Chamber’s Leadership Team would make sure that everything went smoothly. The facilitator for yesterday's Chamber Coffee Break was Kimberly Johnson, CEO Florida Impact to End Hunger . Stanise Richardson (Ambassador) and Gloria Williams (Secretary) volunteered to assist with the orderly running of the event. As always we had a great meeting and focused on providing support for our members and building relationships. Thank you to everyone that attended yesterday's Chamber Coffee Break. FYI the Chamber Coffee Break is the second Wednesday of the month 8-9:30. RSVP at historiceatonvillechamber. Org
