Circle Time is a gathering where a teacher may sing, play games, and tell a story to a group of children. Learning Centers are specialized areas of a class or room where children learn, engage and explore materials. For example, an Art Center may include Crayons, Markers, Paper, Paint and Stamps.

This week we created a restaurant in our class. The students helped create the menu, and took turns being the hostess, the customer, the chef, and the server.

While the rest of the school was celebrating Moms with nice pastel colors of pink and green. My class theme was Wonder Woman! Yes! That's right! My Moms work hard, do drop off, pick up, take care of sick children, sick husbands, elderly parents. They pack lunches, read stories, hustle to doctors appointments. I am in awe each day how they get it all done! This week I had the pleasure of hosting my Mom's in my class with their students. It was truly a joy.

I was hoping to have a price drop right before Christmas BUT looks like I'll have to wait closer to Mother's Day. Ahh, the joys of being an independent author!
