A lot of people are currently homeschooling, even if temporarily. I have homeschooled my daughter throughout K-12 and she is now enrolled in a prestigious private college on a full scholarship. I am happy to answer any questions and provide help as you navigate your way through this adventure. Just drop your questions below and I will answer them as I get to them.
If nothing else, remember to breathe. You taught your child how to walk, talk and wipe their own behinds....you were their first teacher...you've got this!!

Good Monday Morning Homeschoolers!
As HENCF shifts gears into the new role of consulting and support. I thought I would give a quick overview of our homeschooling journey. My daughter never attended public school. I am a product of the public school system and even back then, I felt my academic learning and my life experience was stunted by the practice of "teaching to the test." I wanted more for my own child. So, I decided to homeschool...as a single parent. The journey wasn't easy. I had to make a few sacrifices along the way, but it was well worth it. The friends she made are lifelong. The experiences she had will forever shape her views. But, moreover, the academic and social foundation she was given helped her get into a top private University with a full-ride scholarship.
Many of you are wondering...is it worth it? Can I do it? Will my child make it into college? The answer to all that is...YES! In the future will be offering video and in-person lectures on various topics in addition to one-on-one coaching for homeschooling families. I will be answering some of the questions and covering specific topics here as well.
My challenge to you is to help me with perspective. What are the biggest questions and concerns that you have as a homeschooling parent? What do you want to know? Ask below and I will be back with lots of answers!
