🎻🎶 Huge congratulations to our Symphonic Orchestra, led by the incredible Mr. Fernandez, for earning Straight Superior ratings at the Middle School Orchestra MPA (Muscial Performance Assessment)! 🌟 This achievement showcases their hard work and dedication. A big thank you to the professional adjudicators for their valuable feedback and to everyone who supported our talented ensemble. Let’s keep the music alive! 🎵

OCPS ♟️

Congratulations to our Theatre 3, Jr. Thespians class at their state competition! 

Students attended one-act plays, participated in theatre-related workshops, performed our one-act play, “My Fellow Students”, presented twelve “thespy” events, and one student, Miranda Nobile Cachutt, represented our district in the opening ceremonies opening number. 

It is our privilege to share that of our twelve “thespy” events, monologues, solo musicals, a duet musical, a stage management, a costume design, and a theatre marketing, our troupe received four “excellent” and eight “superior” ratings! 

In addition, our one-act play, “My Fellow Students”, received a “superior” rating and a perfect score from one of the three judges! 

And to top it all off, out of all fifteen one-acts performed at the state competition, our very own Brooke Dermis received “Most Outstanding Female Lead.” 

We congratulate this fantastic class and our amazing theater teacher, Mrs. M**f, on all of their accomplishments and their phenomenal representation of District 8 and IMS!!

Rain or shine, they greet us with smiles, ensure safe crossings, and create a welcoming environment for all. Let’s give them a big THANK YOU for their dedication and care. 🙌
