Miss Kathey's Academy for the Performing Arts

Is an Intense Musical Theater Workshop which combines training in acting, voice and dance – THE TRIPLE THREAT. We produce fun, family friendly entertainment.

We teach that state of mind and emotions are shared through the words, music, movement and professional characteristics of entertainment in its totality. At MKA, we rotate classes and have specialty classes for the more advanced students. At the end of each semester we have a Showcase – a Musical Broadway Style production Variety Show or a Musical. MKA is an educational not for profit 501(c) (3) o

rganization. As an educational program, MKA teaches techniques and skills of theater performing. All features of the theater and production as well as performing are focused on in our classes. We place value on each other and treat each child with respect. Our goal is to develop discipline, self-confidence and self-esteem in our students.

Private Voice Lessons with Miss Kathey

Miss Kathey’s Academy now offers private voice lessons with Miss Kathey online or in person.

Students receive personal instruction in vocal technique, interpretation, and performance preparation. Limited openings are available.

Miss Kathey’s Academy for the Performing Arts is enrolling students from ages 5-25 for the upcoming Christmas season. MKA provides structured training, consistent rehearsals, and the opportunity to perform in a full Christmas Broadway-style production.
