There's a lot of discussion and inaccurate assumptions regarding the Matt Gaetz allegations.

Let us start by getting our terminology correct. There were no charges. Joe Biden's weaponized DOJ stopped investigating after failing to get an indictment from a grand jury. Despite this, partisans and milk toast "Republicans" in the House of Representatives decided to take up an internal ethics investigation. The house has the power to police its own members and ultimately decide to refuse to seat duly elected representatives. That was the ultimate goal of the investigation to remove a representative Florida who has been a thorn in the side to the leadership of both Parties. Just like Trump's impeachment, they wanted to enact punishment without a crime. So much for innocent until proven guilty.

The investigation that was to come out "soon" was this investigation. The political hacks would be exposed if they released the investigation since it becomes moot now that Gaetz resigned his position.

We want to congratulate state Representatives David Smith, Susan Placencia, Rachel Plakon and Doug Bankson as well as our local Federal Representative Corey Mills for their well-deserved victories tonight. We appreciate Representatives that will stand in the gap and actually represent us.

We appreciate our Governor DeSantis and Florida's first lady Casey DeSantis for taking the lead to defeat both of these issues as well as our local pro-life organizations such as Florida Family Voice and Liberty Council Action led by John Stemberger

To the entire state of Florida, on behalf of all sane people in Orange County, please forgive us for the AOC of Florida, Maxipad Frost and the absolutely moronic decision to put Monique Worrell, the person that Ron DeSantis fired for not doing her job, back into that same job. The State of Florida has made some great advances, but Orlando still needs some work.
