🎉 Our 5th Grade Send‑Off Was One for the Books! 🎉

Yesterday, our amazing 5th grade parents pulled off an EPIC celebration for our soon‑to‑be middle schoolers — and let me tell you, they understood the assignment. Big time.

From the games to the music to the “I swear I’m not crying, it’s just allergies” moments, our kids were celebrated in style as they get ready to take on the next big adventure. Middle school, brace yourself… they’re coming in HOT.

A huge THANK YOU to our parents who planned, decorated, organized, hauled, set up, cleaned up, and probably needed a nap afterward. You made our students feel like absolute superstars, and we’re so grateful for your time, energy, and creativity.

And to our 5th graders:
Keep shining, keep laughing, and keep being the awesome humans you are. Just remember — your teachers still expect you to come back and visit… preferably not during lunch duty.

🎓💙 SENIOR WALK 2026 — ONCE AN ALL STAR, ALWAYS AN ALL STAR! 💙🎓

Today our halls were filled with caps, gowns, and a whole lot of nostalgia as high school seniors returned to the place where their journey began — Vista Lakes Elementary.

Seven years ago, they walked these halls as little All Stars with big dreams. Today, they walked them again as graduates representing several high schools, ready to take on the world with even bigger goals, bigger confidence, and (let’s be honest) much bigger shoes.

Our students cheered, our staff beamed with pride, and the seniors soaked in every moment of coming home. Watching them high‑five younger All Stars reminded us that the Vista Lakes spirit doesn’t fade — it grows.

To our graduating All Stars:

✨ We believe in you.
✨ And no matter where life takes you next, you will always be part of the Vista Lakes family.

This special event invites seniors to return in their caps and gowns and walk the halls where their journey began—cheered on by our current students and staff. It’s a meaningful way to celebrate their accomplishments and inspire the next generation.

This morning, we celebrated the incredible humans who make Vista Lakes shine a little brighter every single day — our AMAZING volunteers! From classroom help to event magic to the “I’ll take care of it!” moments that save us all… you are the heartbeat of our school.

We laughed, we ate, we caffeinated, and we may or may not have tried to convince a few volunteers to sign lifetime contracts. (They’re still reviewing the fine print.)

Seeing our volunteers honored, smiling, and surrounded by gratitude reminded us just how lucky we are. Vista Lakes doesn’t just have volunteers — we have All-Star volunteers. The kind who show up early, stay late, and somehow make everything feel possible.

Thank you for your time, your energy, your kindness, and your love for our students and staff. We appreciate you more than you know — today and every day. 💛💙
