Days 4 & 5 of Teacher & Staff Appreciation truly capped off a fantastic week last week!

✨ Day 4: We brought back last year’s incredibly popular Snacklebox Day, where teachers and staff got to fill up on a variety of treats. Michelle McRae also set up a station for making custom Italian sodas!

✨ Day 5: Teachers & Staff enjoyed a hearty breakfast of yogurt parfaits, fruit, and bagels from Jeff’s Bagel Run!

Windy Ridge K-8 School is celebrating Asian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month! 🌺🌏Students and families are invited to share their heritage by submitting a short video featuring traditional dance, songs, instruments, or a traditional dish, or by sending a photo in traditional cultural attire.📅 Submit entries by Monday, May 18, 2026

🪸🐠🦀 Last week our Silverhawk Chorus presented 3 performances of Disney’s Little Mermaid JR. for students and the community. These students led by the incredible Mrs. Barazarte rehearsed for months to bring life under the sea to the stage with smashing success! From dazzling musical numbers, memorable scenes, and even the technical lighting and music, these students shone bright on stage! Congratulations Silverhawk Chorus!🪸

Celebrating our incredible teachers & staff all week long! 💙 Today’s Bubbakoo’s luncheon was just one small way to say THANK YOU for everything they do—complete with a fun prize table and goodies for everyone. Each staff member received a $5 Starbucks or Target gift card, a free Chick-fil-A sandwich voucher, Caribbean Sol face sunscreen, access to a Dave & Buster’s Teachers Night, and a special beauty or houseware item. We appreciate them more than words can say! 🍎✨
