We are excited to announce that we are now accepting submissions for the National PTA Reflections of the Arts Program!

🎨 The Reflections of the Arts Program is a nationwide contest organized by the PTA that gives students an opportunity to explore their creativity, share their voice, and tell their story through art. 🌟 This Year's Theme: “What My Culture Means to Me”

We invite our students to participate and share your unique talents, ideas, and creativity with us!

Each submitted piece should reflect this theme in one of the available categories:

• Dance Choreography • Photography • Film Production • Visual Arts • Literature • Music Composition

Let your creativity take center stage!

📋 Submission Details:

📄 Registration & Submission: All entries must be registered and submitted through the Online Submission Form (https://forms.gle/5cxdWfdm4vsfbJ3GA).

📝 Student Entry Form: A Student Entry Form is required to be typed and include a physical signature with every artwork submission. Please access the Printable Student Entry Form and Guidelines (https://forms.gle/5cxdWfdm4vsfbJ3GA).

🖼️ Artwork: Physical artwork will not be collected by the PTA. However, the art teacher may hold physical pieces for upcoming displays.

🗓️ Deadline: The deadline for entries is November 16th.

🏆 Guest judges will evaluate the submissions from our school. Winning entries will have the opportunity to advance to the county, state, and national levels!

This morning was our first Deeewood Dollar Cart 🦅

Deerwood Dollars are distributed by the instructional staff to recognize students demonstrating the ABC's (Academics, Behavior, Character).

PTA allows students to shop once per month as a way to use some of their Deerwood Dollars. You're welcome to join us as a volunteer at the cart on the third Friday of the month from 8-8:45 a.m. if you're ADDitions approved.

Ask your Eagle if they shopped today!
