Today, our students in VPK enjoyed a fun-filled “Paint and Sip” experience 🎨🎶! They listened to music while creating adorable bunny rabbit paintings 🐰, all while enjoying a light snack and apple juice 🧃. It was a creative, relaxing, and enriching art activity that brought lots of smiles and joy 😊✨

✨ VPK Weekly Recap at Kidz College ✨

Last week was full of learning, fun, and hands-on experiences in our VPK classrooms!

Our VPK future world changers participated in the 100th Day of School celebration, and we encouraged them to visit other classes to confidently share and talk about the 100 items they brought in—building communication skills and confidence along the way.

We also celebrated National Rubber Duck Day with an adorable show & tell, as students proudly brought in a variety of rubber duckies and practiced speaking in front of their peers. 🦆💛

Bagel Day was a hit! Our future world changers explored choices by selecting from a variety of bagels and toppings, creating their own tasty combinations while learning about decision-making and independence. 🥯

The fun continued with making dirt cups using pudding, Oreos, and gummy worms—following directions, strengthening fine motor skills, and enjoying a sweet reward at the end! 🍫🐛

To wrap up the week, students completed an opposites activity using visual pictures, taking turns coming to the board and building vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence.

Today we had a special visit from Sheriff Adkins from who shared how they keep our community safe and help those in need. 🧡💛
Our little learners loved asking questions and seeing how real heroes serve every day! 💫

Daily story time isn’t just fun—it’s powerful. 📚✨ When teachers read to children multiple times a day, they’re building vocabulary, sparking imagination, and laying the foundation for confident early readers. Every book shared is a step toward stronger language skills and a lifelong love of reading……and here at Kidz College we are dedicated to doing just that and so much more! 💜💛

Today our students got the best kind of story time — a few of our outstanding parents joined us to read and share their favorite books, and two amazing middle schoolers from KCPSS came to read with our Vivacious VPK class! 🌟 Big thank you to our readers for making the love of reading come alive in our classrooms. 💛

Twenty years ago, Kidz College began as a small home daycare in the garage — built on love, faith, and a deep passion for serving our community’s children and families. What started with a few little footsteps and big dreams has grown into a cornerstone of care and learning for so many.

From ABCs to graduation caps, we’ve watched generations of little ones grow, thrive, and come back to visit and every single child and family has left an imprint on our hearts.

We are deeply grateful for your trust, your support, and your continued presence in our journey. 💜💛

While our official celebration will take place this September, until then, we’re taking a stroll down memory lane sharing stories, photos, and moments that remind us of where we started and how far we’ve come.
