✅ 1 in-person practicum
✅ 3 supervision sessions with your assigned HERD EFP Primary Supervisor
✅ A path to Foundation 1 certification, with the option to continue on to Foundation 2

Compared with our Accelerated track, which condenses training into a faster, more immersive experience leading straight to Foundation 2, FlexPath offers more ability to manage this certification amongst the other hats you wear in life.

When the stars align and values are clear, collaborations feel like coming home. Founder, Dr. Veronica Lac delivered an intro workshop to staff and volunteers at Free Rein Foundation this week. So much joy, love, and connection! What a privilege to share space with the humans and horses in this herd 😍

The herd doesn't care if you complete the exercise -- they care whether or not you're actually there, present with them.

It's easy to measure growth by what "got done." Horses teach us something slower: that presence is its own skill, and it can't be faked, rushed, or checked off a list.

What would change if you measured your day by presence instead of output?

Sometimes, a place to gather is enough to heal.

But that place must be safe, inclusive, open-hearted.

Our Coming Home to THE Herd conference reminded us of this in many ways. The safety our attendees felt, which in turn allowed them to be vulnerable and confront difficult emotions. The inclusivity so demonstrative of our mission and values. The open hearts each and every session, breakout group and discussion facilitated.

Now, the question is: how do we continue to create this space for others -- in our own practices, or even in our everyday lives?
